Protect our Sport Forever!

The American Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA) has established an endowment fund — the ACSA Legacy Fund — at the Capital Region Community Foundation. Current gifts of cash and other assets to our fund can provide you with a tax deduction. We also encourage you to name the ACSA Legacy Fund as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan. Both current and deferred gifts help ensure that the ACSA will benefit generations to come.

Having our endowment fund at the Community Foundation gives donors confidence that their gifts will be protected and well invested, with a consistent focus on growth of principal and generation of income for our use.

Tax Considerations

Your donation to our endowment fund benefits the ACSA and provides you with the maximum tax deduction allowed by law, since the Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Contributions of appreciated property can be deducted at their full fair market values. Appreciated assets given to the ACSA Legacy Fund at the Community Foundation are free of capital gains taxes. No tax is owed on the growth of assets in our endowment fund. Always make sure to review tax advantages with your accountant and attorney when considering charitable giving.
