ACSA announces J&K Snowmobiles as the 2018 Snowmobile Dealer of the Year

At the 50th International Snowmobile Congress, Pioneer Motorsport from Chaffee, New York was named the ACSA Snowmobile Dealer of the Year. The dealership was opened in 1964 with Hus Ski Snowmobiles. Since that time the dealership has grown into one of the most elite dealerships in New York.
Pioneer Motorsports has hosted local club meetings at their location, as well as multiple fundraising events, membership drives and vintage snowmobile shows. Their generosity does not apply to only one club, but several local clubs.
Pioneer Motorsports believes that education is an important piece to selling snowmobiles. They promote any and all snowmobilers to be get involved in their local club. They educate buyers on how the snowmobile club works and emphasize the need to join a club prior to registering a sled.
The staff offers demo rides when riding conditions permit. They believe educating the consumers on the correct vehicles and apparel is vital for safe and enjoyable rides. They also have signs and posters in the dealership reminding riders to stay on the trail and respect the trails.
Plans are currently underway with the dealership taking the lead to relocate a trail. This trail will be developed on Pioneer Motorsport property. Another project that is being planned is a youth ride on private property prior to the trails opening. “We feel this would be a good way to take advantage of early snow and no traffic to allow the kids to get some riding in,“ said Kyle Armstrong.
“Pioneer Motorsport represents snowmobiling at the grassroot level. They are passionate about the sport, from the safety aspect to the access aspect to the funding. They have been an invaluable partner with many of New York’s snowmobile clubs,” states New York State Snowmobile Association President Rosanne Warner. “They support the sport and are constantly promoting the need for consumers to become active snowmobile club members”.
